FYI - Mike Vandeman is a noted opponent of mountainbiking. He hates biking with a visceral passion and has recently been convicted of various attacks on mountainbikers (see here - http://peterfrickwright.com/trial/). He has every right to comment on this issue but take into account that many observers view Mike as irrational, violent and whose opinions should be viewed as from the lunatic fringe. If this degrades into name-calling and bickering I will reserve the right to delete his and associated comments

I'll try to clear that up. Sorry - was typing away on a phone

Not to pick on you but the Bernese will read these comments. Let's try to keep it civil

Mark, I believe that certain landowners have proposed the law. the law then gets input (that's this process underway presently). Right now there's considerable opposition to the law. As Bern is a democracy I am assuming that all interests will be taken into account. I'm trying to confirm this with local bike advocates and will update

I don,t think so as I can't think of Pds resorts in Bern canton. Could be wrong

Guys - trust me on this. There is a rear shock on the bike. His hand is blocking your view. Don't worry - you don't have to take the rear shock off to put it on the bus bike racks

After reading that I did not explain that part very well! Thanks for catching it There was no charge for storing the bike bags. That service was provided along with the one night hotel room booking. We needed the hotel room because of our plane flight which was very early in the morning.

yah I don't know why that happened. I think I spun the barrel adjuster for some reason - as soon as I got back on the bike it was fine. Good eye though

Its a fascinating language though and I like languages. It's very cool how the dialect changes from valley to valley

Thank you for the clarification however, your article wording is somewhat unclear.

Limited access trails (i.e.) limited to bikers only. Is this what you mean?

They only want to let us ride on "restricted" trails? Assuming that this is an error, you might want to fix your article.

Your hypocrisy is hilarious. Why am I messaging? Because what you said was rude and has no place on bike website. I would love to see you call me a 'dipshit' to my face in public. Obviously, you have some social problems so I will laugh it off and have fun with my life, thank you Smile

Seriously.
What the f*ck is your problem?
Do you feel the need, as most douchebags do, to attack me on a personal level.
You can't even have a discussion without downgrading someone. You're a waste of life

I realize how full of myself that sounded, I should have said that I know the local trails fairly well, and have found some great ones that are newer than the publication date. I also know the local beers very well, likely as good or better than the trails...
