For the
North Shore Bike Fest,
Endless Biking provided guided rides (with the assistance of
NSRide) through out the weekend.
Endless Biking (or EB/Endless) is basically a full-service company for mountain-biking trail riding offering "Camps: Clinics, Rentals, Training: Tours". Many first time visitors to the Shore don't know their way around the trails, don't have the time to really explore, are unfamiliar with riding in hyper-technical terrain, want to improve their skills or perhaps, a combination of all of the above. EB fills the niche of catering to people who might have those needs. Endless' two owners (Darren & Kelli) are also very community minded and leapt at the chance of having a presence at the North Shore Bike Fest - volunteering to put in the pump track and to hold guided rides.
Here are some highlights from those guided rides last weekend,
NSRide is the largest riding club in the Lower Mainland. Catering to all ages, they hold guided group rides for members on a weekly basis - basically a good way to get a flavour for trails. They helped a lot by providing guides for the group guided rides.
I tagged along on an "all-mountain" ride on Fromme and filmed/photoed the group on the Pipeline trail (thanks to G & S for all your hard work building), then Dempsey/Braemar. I was to go on a "DH" ride on Seymour, but a torrential downpour overcame my willingness; perhaps that'll be a later PB article.
Here are some more pictures of general North Shore Bike Fest activities (apologies to those exhibitors I missed from the earlier article):

If you've never ridden rock roller coasters before ...
... don't grab too much front brake! (EB also provides coaching and guides have first-responder medical training)
Pipeline has good variety - some flow
Some rocks
