Definitely the start of a great event!

Not only does it benefit the xc racers with the marathon, the DH Racers, kids with the races, pump track, bmx races BUT

It also benefits:
Harvest project - we collected $5.00 from the racers or food to feed people
Seymour Lions club - profits from their burgers went towards their charity
Cyclebetes - beer garden profits goes towards their charity
Bikes For tykes
North Shore Crisis Center
Hollyburn Family Services
NSMBA
Muddbunnies
and North Shore Rescue

While it is about the bike! sometimes its not only about the bike!

The MARIN VAN, Bradon Steeze! Check the Wu Tizzal sticker on the back, that's how my man rolls!
Yo, Braden, see any underage girls today? AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You're a bro for sure.

Just came back from a group ride on Fromme; now off to do a group ride shuttling off Seymour. There's your ride to the top

 Goddamnit wish I was there.

there is still tomorrow. That is when the DH racing is.

yah - there's BMX; guided rides; all the demo bikes are still there. It's FREE - no reason not to go. If you don't have a car the bus stops about a block away. DH doesn't even start till noon so you can sleep in
  • 2 2
too bad the bus doesn't go up the mountain...=(
even if they did there would be a massive lineup of bikers waiting to get their bikes up the mountain two at a time.
  • 2 1
yup today was fun but tommrow should be better!
  • 2 1
Yup - I mean the bus goes close to the festival site. There's lots of people checking out the DH course though. I know quite a few people who asked for rides and got them at the festival site. You're on your own for that though

say i wanted to film some of the race and didnt want to hike, is the shuttle going to allow me on without a bike? i dont know how to go abouts doing it
  • 2 0
 Probably not. Just hike.....
  • 1 0
is it a huge hike? never been there
  • 1 0
Meh...its like....about hour to hour and a half from the bottom of hyannis to Beginning of Neds...
  • 1 0
AFAIK the shuttle is only taking the racers up, it's what some of the entrance fee goes to! And this year is even better because your one and only Unhallowed is driving one of the shuttle trucks! Wink

You can always hitch a ride up with private teams, random people riding, or anyone else who's driving to the top.
